TESS TRIBUTE
You came to me in February 2010 as a foster from a family in Hope BC at nearly 4 years old. After the 3-month foster period drew to an end, I just couldn’t let you go. You were just having way too much fun with big brother Morrgan. And of course, I fell in love with your feisty and quirky character.
You had a sky-high prey drive. After all, you were a terrier. I finally learned to roll the truck windows up to half open. Otherwise, you were out that window like an Olympic sprinter chasing after the squirrel you had just seen 100 yards away, when we stopped for the mail.
You loved everything that a doggo likes: walkies, sleeping, playing with big brother Morrgan and of course, eating. In fact you loved your food so much, you bounced, jumped, skipped and trotted like a Lipizzaner Stallion before every meal; even in your last days.
But sadly, your overall health was slowly on the decline for over a year, with congestive heart failure and pulmonary edema.
You told me on Monday that it was time to let you go.
Rest In Peace, Sweet Tess
